Eyelid Transformation - The Painless Way

For those girls with Asian mono-lids or subtle double eyelids, it can be quite frustrating when it comes to applying eye makeup as our eyelids don't have much room to accommodate eye shadows and eye liners. Three common methods are viable to fix this problem - surgery, eyelid stickers or eyelid glues. Today I'll be reviewing the latter two options as they are the most safe and cost efficient choices if you are seeking a painless method.

Eyelid stickers are actually quite common among Asian girls. They come in different shapes and colours (skin tone or clear) and are easy to apply. The top two are both single sided and can be apply using a tweezer.

This one is actually quite rare. It is made from a soft rubbery material with elasticity. To apply, you pull onto both ends and stretch the tape until its a thin line and then use it to cut into your lid.

Double sided tape that allows your eyelid to be taped together and holds the fold well.

Besides using tapes, another viable option is the eyelid glue. Apply the glue over your eyelids then push it up using a y-shaped tweezer. This option can get a little messy and your lids will become quite sticky and uncomfortable. You will also have to use a gentle makeup remover to completely remove the glue hence it is not really recommended.
