For those Melbournian girls who like to buy Asian beauty products in-store, I have compiled a list of Asian cosmetic stores that import from Japan, China and Korea.
Daiso
Shop 204, Midtown Plaza, 246 Bourke Street,
Or
Corner of Flinders St and Elizabeth St
Daiso is a supermarket chain from Japan where everything is priced at $2.80. They sell everything from food to personal grooming products to stationary. You can get some really cheap cosmetics and makeup tools here. I once purchased some loose mineral powder here but it had this super sparkly substance and made my face glow under sunlight so that's not really recommended. The Hello Kitty hand cream on the hand has a really delicious French pastry smell and I absolutely love it!
Yuki House
Shop15, 206 Bourke St (enter from Bourke St Mall next to JB Hi Fi)
Yuki House sells a lot of Japanese and Korean cosmetics and hair products. They sell the Japanese brand hair dye Palty that apparently works quite well on stubborn Asian hair.
The Face Shop
Melbourne Central, 183-265 La Trobe Street
This is a very popular Korean makeup brand that sells everything from cosmetics to skin care to hair products.
Missha
Shop 32 1 Main Street Box Hill Central
Missha stands for:
Miss => Young
S => Sexy
H => Healthy
A => Active
Lo.Me
Shop 401, Level 4, 125 Swanston St
Lo.Me stands for Love Me and they sell a range of Asian beauty products
Beauty Sense Shoppe
214 Swanston St Melbourne
225 Swanston St, Melbourne
They sell a range of Japanese and Korean hair care and skin care products like the brand 3 Concept Eyes.
